Women Empowerment

DSNG demonstrates its commitment to respecting Human Rights and labor standards through the implementation of several key policies, including the Anti-Discrimination Policy, Sustainability Policy, Women Protection Policy, and Child Protection Policy. These policies aim to foster a nondiscriminatory work environment and promote fair and equal treatment across all levels of the organization.

Through its Sustainability Policy, DSNG ensures the fulfillment of workers’ rights in accordance with applicable national regulations while also aligning with international standards, including the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, ILO Conventions, the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGP), and IFC Performance Standards (PS 2, PS 7, and PS 8). This commitment is reflected in the implementation of gender equality principles, child protection measures, diversity promotion, and the creation of a safe and child-friendly working environment.

The Company’s zero-exploitation commitment is demonstrated through initiatives to improve employee and community welfare, strengthen occupational health and safety practices, and generate positive economic impacts through various social programs. To support women’s protection, DSNG provides lactation rooms and separate sanitation facilities across operational areas. Child protection is enforced through a zero-tolerance policy on child labor and measures to ensure the safety of children living around operational sites. DSNG also collaborates with institutions such as the Partnership for Action Against Child Labor in Agriculture (PAACLA), reflecting the Company’s broader commitment to advancing responsible practices across its business units.

In addition, in creating a healthy, safe, and comfortable environment for all employees and their families, especially for women and children in the Company’s operational areas, since 2021 DSN Group has formed Women’s Committees in all subsidiaries. The Women’s Committee was established with the aim of guaranteeing and providing protection for women in the workplace and children around DSNG’s operational areas. Women’s Committees are also in charge of preventing acts of violence and harassment against women and children, as well as receiving and handling complaints of violence and harassment against women and children.

DSNG has always been committed to empowering women involves:

  1. Ensuring women’s self-worth, whether as an employee, family member, or part of the community, where their rights to determine their own choice is assured.
  2. Assuring equal opportunity for women to participate in decision making
