CSR & Plasma Scheme

DSN Group partners with smallholders around its operational areas through farmer cooperatives and farmer groups. The cooperatives that we work with can be categorised into 2, namely partnership (scheme smallholder) and external (independent smallholder). DSNG is committed to providing training and capacity building to independent smallholders to achieve this goal, by equipping partner smallholders with the necessary knowledge and skills to implement NDPE policies and best practices in managing their oil palm plantations.

The NDPE Measurement, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) implementation in 2025 covered 20 suppliers, consisting of 1 IPC supplier, 11 Self-Help Cooperative suppliers, and 8 Agent suppliers. With this additional MRV implementation, all DSNG external suppliers, including IPC, Self-Help Cooperatives, and Agents, have undergone the MRV process. Going forward, NDPE MRV will be conducted periodically every two years for each supplier. In addition, the Company will provide mentoring to suppliers who have not yet met the NDPE criteria. Suppliers who have completed MRV and achieved a score of ≥ 75% according to the assessment criteria are categorized as “Compliant.” By the 2025 report, NDPE outreach had reached 50% of IPC, 50% of Self-Help Cooperative farmers, and 25% of Agent farmers.

Furthermore, by 2025, 97.76% of our total supply volume had been verified as free from deforestation and conversion. Meanwhile, the remainder is untraceable supply, so it cannot be verified.

The company cooperates with the Partnership through a business entity in the form of a cooperative. One way the company supports plasma partnership smallholders is through the RSPO certification program. By 2025, 2,951 smallholders will have been certified through this program. This number is equivalent to 23.5% of plasma partnership farmers and 11.1% of all farmers who send FFB to the company.
