CSR Activity Development

We are committed to grow and developing together with the community. This commitment has been consistently upheld since our establishment through partnerships and activities to empower the community. We believe that building a good relationship with the communities around our areas of operation is important in the process of becoming a sustainable palm oil company.
DSNG is committed to implementing sustainable Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) by integrating best practices into its operations, creating a positive impact through a balance of business growth, community welfare, and environmental preservation. This assessment is part of the preparation of the Environmental Impact Analysis (AMDAL) document by its subsidiaries, which is integrated with the Environmental and Social Management System (ESMS) document. It upholds the principle of FPIC, and refers to the IFC Performance Standards as a framework for managing environmental and social risks and impacts. By the end of the reporting period, all (100%) subsidiaries had valid Environmental Permit documents.
Through its CSR function, the Company engages communities in managing negative impacts in a participatory and consultative manner, and organizes various empowerment programs to improve health and economic opportunities, particularly for youth, vulnerable groups, and underprivileged families. By 2025, DSNG’s CSR function will also focus on an annual Social Impact Assessment (SIA) to evaluate the company’s impact on communities and identify their needs in the areas surrounding its operations.
