Social Responsibility in Employee and Community Health and Safety

We look at the aspects of Occupational Safety, Health and Environment (SHE), as well as aspects of Community Health and Safety as a top priority in carrying out business activities. Our goal is to protect all employees and the community around the operational area of DSN Group. We consistently encourage employee awareness to uphold the HSE culture and conduct continuous evaluation, innovation and improvement. The Company requires all employees to apply the use of APD to maintain occupational health and safety.

The implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) policy is coordinated by the HSE Department through hazard identification, risk assessment and control (HIRADC), safety training, monitoring, compliance reporting, and emergency response simulations. These programs are carried out in accordance with OHS regulations and are continuously improved through system enhancements and innovation. As part of regulatory compliance, DSNG has established an OHS Committee registered with the local Manpower Office at the regency level. The Committee oversees the implementation of OHS programs, conducts regular meetings, and continuously reviews occupational safety performance.
In 2025, 12 DSNG subsidiaries within the palm oil business unit recorded zero workplace accidents. This achievement is reflected in the reduction of lost work hours in the palm oil business unit, from 3,798 hours in 2024 to 3,640 hours in 2025, indicating improved operational risk control. The calculation of OHS performance statistics, including the Severity Rate and Frequency Rate, is conducted using a standardized approach per 1,000,000 working hours, in line with occupational safety measurement standards. Information related to occupational health and safety performance has been verified internally and externally through RSPO and ISPO certification activities to ensure its accuracy and validity.
