DSNG 2025 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders: Company Reported Business Growth in 2024
Jakarta, 5 June 2025 – PT Dharma Satya Nusantara Tbk (‘DSNG’ or ‘the Company’) held its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) for the 2024 fiscal year at the Harris Hotel & Conventions Kelapa Gading, Jakarta. During the meeting, the Company’s management reported that DSNG achieved business growth despite ongoing global challenges in 2024.
The AGMS was attended by all members of the Board of Directors and Board of Commissioners, both online and offline. Shareholders representing approximately 9,966,929,204 of shareholders or 94,029% of the total shares were present at the meeting, which was chaired by DSNG’s President Commissioner, Adi Resanata Somadi Halim.
All meeting agendas proposed during the 2025 AGMS were approved by the shareholders, including the distribution of a cash dividend totaling Rp 254 billion, or Rp 24 per share.
DSNG’s President Director, Andrianto Oetomo, stated that 2024 was marked by various global headwinds affecting the palm oil and wood product sectors, including weakened export markets, increasing sustainability demands, domestic political dynamics, climate change, and increasingly complex regulations.
“Despite the global and domestic challenges throughout 2024, the Company remained focused on maintaining business stability and continued to deliver positive contributions to shareholders and all stakeholders,” Andrianto explained.
To navigate these challenges, DSNG implemented a business strategy based on Exploitation and Exploration. The Exploitation strategy focused on strengthening the core business through operational excellence and efficiency, while the Exploration strategy targeted the development of new business opportunities aligned with DSNG’s sustainability vision, such as estate replanting programs, agricultural waste-to-biomass initiatives, and others.
In 2024, the Company recorded revenues of Rp 10.12 trillion, an increase of 6.5% year-on-year (YoY) compared to 2023. This growth was primarily driven by a 12.3% increase in the Company’s average selling price of crude palm oil (CPO), despite a 9% YoY decline in CPO production to 602 thousand tons, due to the lingering effects of El Niño from the second half of 2023 through the first quarter of 2024. As a result, the palm oil segment remained the primary contributor to DSNG’s revenue, accounting for 87% of the total.
The AGMS also approved the ratification of the Company’s 2024 Annual Report and the Supervisory Report of the Board of Commissioners for the fiscal year ending 31 December 2024.
