Continues Improvement DSNG
Continuous improvement is a culture that is constantly advocated by DSN Group to encourage innovations from employees that are expected to be realized and make a real contribution to the company. The realization of this commitment is demonstrated in the active contribution of employees in the QCC (Quality Control Circle) Award, which is held annually by the company.
Throughout 2025, a total of 981 improvement themes were implemented, with 5,185 employees participating in Continuous Improvement (CI) activities and the suggestion system, reflecting a collective commitment to safety, quality, productivity, cost efficiency, and human capital development.

SEE ON SOCIAL MEDIAThe theme Continuous Improvement as an Enabler towards DSNG 2030 was adopted as a reflection of the Company’s commitment to positioning Continuous Improvement as a key enabler in achieving its long-term goals.
During this period, 868 improvement themes were generated by 4,340 employees who contributed their ideas to ensure ongoing improvements within their respective work units.
Awards were presented by Management during the DSN Award 2023 grand event, held on 5–6 October 2023.

SEE ON SOCIAL MEDIAThe DSN Award 2024 adopted the theme Achieving DSNG 2030 Through Sustainable Operation Excellence, reflecting the Company’s ongoing commitment to fostering a culture of continuous improvement to generate innovative ideas that are practical and impactful for the Company’s growth.
During the year, a total of 814 improvement themes were submitted, involving 4,070 employees who actively participated in Quality Control Circle, Quality Control Project, and the Suggestion System.
Awards were presented by Management to teams and individuals whose innovations delivered tangible impact to the Company. The award ceremony was held on 10 October 2024 at Pesona Alam Resort, Bogor.

SEE ON SOCIAL MEDIADSN Group successfully held its 7th DSN Award under the theme Cohesiveness for Excellence and Business Impact on 2 October 2025 at Grand Mercure Kemayoran Hotel, Jakarta.
In this year’s event, 981 teams comprising 4,610 employees presented their best innovations aimed at enhancing effectiveness and efficiency across business units.
Distinct from previous years, the 2025 DSN Award coincided with the celebration of National Batik Day, embracing the spirit of Batik of Innovation. The diverse improvements contributed by employees, both in Operations and Head Office, have enriched the Company’s Continuous Improvement journey and will continue to shape its future direction.
Management Trainee
To support business needs, DSN Group continuously develops its employees to build a learning culture through various competency development programs. DSN Group’s programs use an integrated approach with the 70-20-10 principle, designed to meet the individual needs of employees, the organization, and short- and long-term business goals. This is done to build the company’s human resources capabilities to remain competent and relevant.
The Eiffel “Excellent Future Leader” Trainee program has reached its peak, marked by a graduation celebration with the theme “Fly High Through the Endless Journey to Become a World-Class Company” held on November 7, 2022. These sixteen Eiffel trainees have undergone a year-long development program.
This event was attended by the Commissioners of DSN Group, the Board of Directors, and Senior Management of DSN Group, as well as Mentors and Coaches from all Business Units of DSN Group both offline and online via video conferencing. DSN Group successfully selected the best participants for the Eiffel Program, which began on November 1, 2021.
In the next phase, the 16 Eiffel Trainees who have graduated are now placed in various streams and SBU as Project Improvement Specialists, with the hope of carrying out their assigned tasks and providing added value to all stakeholders in the company.

The MT Leopard Program is designed as a strategic initiative to develop future professional talent within the Company’s palm oil sector. Through a structured development curriculum, field experience, and mentorship from experienced practitioners, the program prepares participants to gain a comprehensive understanding of industry operations while also developing leadership capabilities.
MT Leopard reflects the Company’s commitment to attracting, developing, and shaping high-potential talent who are ready to contribute to the sustainability and growth of the palm oil industry.
The Falcataria Trainee (FT) is a Management Trainee program organized by the DSN Panel Wood Products business unit with the aim of strengthening the organization with new talent to provide innovation in facing new business competition and challenges, as well as shaping them to be ready to become future leaders. In 2022, there were 8 FTs divided into several streams, namely Production, Maintenance, Finance Accounting, R&D, Sales, and Procurement.
After undergoing a 10-month training period, the “Graduation Falcataria Trainee” event was held on December 29, 2022, which included the announcement of the program graduates and their placement in various positions within the DSN Panel Wood Products business unit.
Learning Program
This program is a series of managerial development initiatives for DSN Group employees, aimed at enhancing their knowledge and capabilities in Business Management and People Management. The program is designed based on the 70-20-10 development principle, whereby participants will acquire 70% of their learning through project assignments, 20% through coaching and mentoring sessions, and 10% through in-class training sessions.
The General Manager Development Program (GMDP) is a leadership development initiative designed to prepare the Company’s senior leaders for strategic roles at the general management level. Through a structured learning journey that integrates strategic thinking, operational excellence, and leadership capability development, the program provides participants with cross-functional exposure, practical business insights, and mentorship from the Company’s senior executives.
GMDP reflects the Company’s commitment to strengthening its leadership pipeline by equipping high-potential leaders with the perspective, competence, and agility needed to drive sustainable business growth and navigate the evolving challenges of the palm oil industry.
The DSN Group is organizing a Senior Manager Development Program (SMDP), specifically designed for employees holding the Department Head, Plantation Head, and equivalent levels, with a duration of approximately 5 (five) months.
Continuing the Senior Manager Development Program (SMDP), Human Capital is organizing the Manager Development Program (MDP) for the first time in 2022. The program is aimed at DSN Group employees, particularly those in the Estate Head, Mill Head, Section Head, and equivalent levels, with a program duration of approximately 5-6 months.
The First Line Manager Development Program (FLMDP) of PT Dharma Satya Nusantara Tbk is a strategic leadership development program designed to prepare employees to take on the role of capable, adaptive, and high-integrity first-line managers in safeguarding and managing the operational ecosystem.
By integrating the People Management pillar—which emphasizes first-line leadership, problem solving, and the strengthening of ethical values—and the Business Management pillar—which focuses on innovation, financial control, and the mastery of digital technologies—the program ensures that DSN’s frontline leaders are able to execute strategic initiatives with precision.
Learning Lunch is a program designed to provide employees with the opportunity to gain new insights and perspectives on various topics in a relaxed and interactive setting. Through this program, employees can participate in discussion sessions with experts and practitioners who share their experiences and expertise on a range of subjects, from personal financial management and maintaining mental and physical well-being to other areas of general knowledge.
The certification program is a strategic initiative by the company to enhance employees’ competencies, quality, and professionalism in line with established standards, while providing formal recognition of their capabilities, knowledge, and skills in their respective fields. Beyond serving as proof of individual competence, certification also reflects the company’s commitment to developing a high-performing, adaptable, and competitive workforce capable of navigating the evolving dynamics and challenges of the workplace.
Community Activities
Community Activities are initiatives facilitated by the Company to encourage togetherness, interaction, and work–life balance among employees within the workplace. Through activities such as sports, hobbies, and social initiatives, employees have the opportunity to connect with one another and build stronger relationships beyond their day-to-day work.
Sports Community is part of the Company’s community activities designed to promote a healthy lifestyle while strengthening camaraderie among employees. Through various sports activities, employees have the opportunity to maintain their fitness, unwind from daily work routines, and build stronger connections with colleagues.
Hobby Community is part of the Company’s community activities that provides employees with a space to pursue and share their personal interests outside of daily work. Through various hobby-based activities, employees can connect with colleagues who share similar interests, foster creativity, and build stronger relationships in a relaxed and enjoyable environment.
