DSN Group respects the right of its indigenous and surrounding communities by ensuring that any development or acquisition on or in the vicinity of their land is not in violation of their rights based on traditional and customary practices. As per our NDPE policy, we are committed to obtaining the Free Prior Informed Consent (FPIC) from the communities with customary claims to the land impacted or overlapping with the land concessions. The ascertainment of local communities’ tenure rights is centered on the conduct of participatory Social Impact Assessment and continuous engagement in fair and informed negotiations over access rights to land. The same commitment applies to our suppliers and our supply chain.
